RiskExec has been updated to include the following enhancements.

Upcoming RiskExec Data Purge: 2018

In accordance with RiskExec's 7-year data retention policy, we will soon begin purging data from the RiskExec platform from 2018. This data purge is scheduled to take place on April 9, 2025.

If you wish to retain any of your institution's data from 2018, please ensure that you download it within the next thirty days. Otherwise, no action from you is needed, and the purge will proceed as scheduled.

Should this timeline present any challenges, kindly let our support team know by emailing support@riskexec.com as soon as possible so that we can assist you accordingly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

HMDA Module

RiskExec's HMDA ICE Encompass Integration is now available!

RiskExec's geocoding, rate spread, and edit checks have been embedded directly into Encompass' cloud-based platform. The three key functionalities are:

  • Geocoding and Tract Data Integration: RiskExec now geocodes the property address stored in Encompass and writes the corresponding census tract data back to the loan file within the Encompass system. Seamlessly integrated into the loan process, this feature ensures precise location data for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Rate Spread Calculation: Using the data stored in Encompass, RiskExec calculates the rate spread for each loan and automatically updates the loan file with this information to eliminate the need for manual calculations, reducing errors and saving time for mortgage professionals.
  • HMDA Edit Checks: RiskExec now enables users to run single-record edit checks on HMDA data directly within Encompass. The integration displays a list of necessary edits within three different categories – regulatory edit checks, enhanced quality edit checks built on RiskExec's extensive HMDA expertise, and user-created custom edit checks – to allow users to quickly identify and address any data discrepancies before submission to ensure compliance with HMDA requirements.

HMDA, CRA, and 1071 SBL Modules

Ability to Batch Update Address Fields to NA

A new Batch Operation has been added to allow users to batch update the Address, City, Zip Code, and/or State Abbreviation fields to NA. Users can exclude State Abbreviation from the batch update by checking the box pictured below

Batch Operations

Note: Running this batch operation will set the Geocoding Source and Geocoding Method for all records included in the update to Manual. This will protect all existing information in the geocoding fields from being overwritten the next time geocoding is run.

Manage Custom Edits: Formula Editor

Users now have the ability to create custom edit checks in HMDA and CRA and custom validations in 1071 SBL using calculated formulas. To use this new option, toggle the Editor Type to Formula Editor.

Enter your calculated formula in the text box and click Save. The example below will trigger an edit check when Applicant Race 5 is equal to 5.

If you have custom edit checks that were created by the RiskExec team in the past, you will now be able to edit them yourself. Edit checks that were created by RiskExec will have a padlock next to them.

Select the edit check and then select Replace Edit.

You will now be able to alter the existing criteria, either by using the Filter Selector or the Formula Editor.

1071 SBL Module

Dynamic Import Wizard: Aggregated Fields and Extract Value

When importing a file in the regulatory format that has aggregated data fields (separated by semi-colons), RiskExec will now automatically map the aggregated values to their corresponding RiskExec fields.

In the example below, RiskExec is extracting the race values from the aggregated field to populate the corresponding RiskExec Race field.

A new option has also been added to the Transform modal that allows users to specify the value they want extracted from an aggregated field.

To use the new option, click on the Transform button for an aggregated field.

Then, select Extract Value.

Enter the Value Index for the value you want to use for this field. In the example below, Value Index 3 has been entered, which corresponds to the value 21 Asian Indian.

Clicking Accept and and then saving your import format will save this selection for future imports.

Additional Batch Operations

The following Batch Operations have been added to 1071 SBL:

  • Edit a field
  • Delete Records
  • Generate Unique Identifier
  • Generate Application Number (from UID)
  • Set Geocoding to NA
  • Set Geocoding Source
  • Set all address fields to NA
  • Change File Part

The Transform modal has been updated to provide an enhanced user experience. The updates include:

  • Radio buttons are used to make selections.
  • On the Translation Table screen, Add Translation and Automatch have been moved to the bottom of the modal. Also, the Translation Table will now present all values in a scrollable list.

Assessment Areas Module

Changes to Assessment Areas

Users will no longer be able to add or remove Assessment Area Units from Assessment Area Sets that fall into any of the below categories:

  • The Assessment Area Set is linked to a locked HMDA, CRA, or 1071 SBL file.
  • The Assessment Area Set has been used in a Redlining Analysis.
  • The Assessment Area Set has been used as a Peer Unit.
  • The Assessment Area Set has been used in a Goal Set.

If your Assessment Area Set falls into any of the above categories, there will be a padlock icon on the Assessment Area Set, as well as on all Areas and Units. Hovering over the padlock will display a list of all of the places this Assessment Area Set is being used.
