2024 HMDA Peer National Snapshot

On June 24, 2025, the CFPB and FFIEC released the 2024 HMDA Peer National Snapshot. Our team has downloaded, converted, and reviewed the data. It is now available in RiskExec for immediate use. It consists of submissions from 4,908 institutions, totaling 12,229,298 records, as of May 19th 2025. Though the individual LARs are still being updated every day as re-submissions occur, the Snapshot is a fixed point in time.

Please note that, as in previous years, the following data was redacted before it was made public:

• The Loan Identifier (ULI/NULI), application date, action date, and credit scores have all been redacted
• Certain fields like DTI and CLTV have been banded to preserve anonymity
• Loan Amount has been rounded to the midpoint of the nearest $10,000 of reported value
• The 2024 data contains records with no GMI if the applicant chose a freeform GMI field only

We recommend that you re-evaluate any analyses that have been done on the mLAR data and ensure that the differences are not large enough to change any results from analyses run before today.
